Just a quick note to say The Golden Web: Part 1, my
non-fiction investigation into ancient mysteries, is now
available to buy. I could do another proof read but I
don't think that's necessary. At the moment, the book is
only available from FeedARead's website (they're handling the
publishing) but it should soon be available from
Amazon.co.uk and major booksellers. It is also available
from Amazon.co.uk as a digital download but I need to
test the quality of the file first (by getting a friend
with a KIndle to buy a copy). Once all that's sorted and
checked, I'll add a banner to my website and populate
the Golden Web page with the
appropriate information.
Future promotional plans:
I'm planning on setting up a website for that book as part
of its promotion, along with some advertising in
appropriate magazines. I'll also try to submit articles to
those same magazines that relate to the book, to generate
interest.
The book:
Here's the book's introduction:
'A few years ago, I was researching material for a
thriller. Half way through the process, I realised that
what I'd found was too intriguing, too fascinating to be
used just as a framework for a pot-boiler. Instead, I’ve
written this book. It’s in two parts. The first part
focuses on aliens, the Knights Templar, Stonehenge,
spirits, lasers, pyramids, Freemasons, giants and cows; the
cows are especially odd. The second part focuses on what
happened to those aliens here on Earth.
If the theory developed in this book is true, it’ll change
the way we view death, life in the Universe and our own
ancient past. I’ll be honest though, it sounds completely
barmy. It starts off reasonably, accepts some weird ancient
beliefs and runs with them, then throws in some absolutely
bonkers pieces of evidence whose factual accuracy only
serves to make the theory seem even more demented than
before.
The only problem is, as far as I can tell, the evidence is
factually correct, logical and straightforward. That’s why
I feel I have to publish it in some form or another, so
that other people can be aware of what I found. To
paraphrase J.B.S. Haldane. ‘the universe is not only
stranger than we imagine, it is stranger than we can
imagine.’
Still interested? Great. Let’s step into the past...'

are for proofing; they don't appear on the actual cover)
